The new RoHS Directive, officially known as Directive 2011/65/EU and generally referred to as RoHS 2 came into force on 2 January 2013 and replaces the previous Directive 2002/95/EC.

As before, the recast directive places restrictions on the use of certain hazardous substances, in electrical and electronic equipment, full details of which can be found on the website of the RoHS Enforcement Authority in the UK. This being the National Measurement Office or the website of the European Commission.

As a supplier of technical Elastomeric Sealing Products and associated items, E-A-P International Limited can confirm that to the best of our knowledge none of the products we supply contain any of the hazardous substances referred to in EU Directive 2011/65/EU.
