In August 2012, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission adopted final rules, to implement reporting and disclosure requirements related to conflict minerals, as directed by the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2010.

‘Conflict Minerals’ means gold, tin, tantalum and tungsten. The latter three are the derivatives of cassiterite, columbite-tantalite, and wolframite, respectively, regardless of where they are sourced, processed or sold.

As a downstream supplier of elastomeric seals, gaskets and associated technical products, E-A-P International Limited can confirm that, to the best of our knowledge and research with our own suppliers, none of our products contain any of the conflict minerals referred to in the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act 2010.

For more detailed and extensive guidelines we recommend the BSI website, and to purchase a copy of The International Standards BS ISO 2230-2002.
